The Design System

Overview

The Det Fælles Designsystem (FDS), is the national design system for every self-service digital solution found on Virk.dk and Borger.dk.

This design system is utilized across all self-service solutions on both web and mobile.

The main goal and purpose of the design system is to be accessible to all users. Therefore is the accessibility requirements for the design system quite high.

A system for everyone

This design system is the core of all public facing self service online forms for both companies and citizens.

This means that the requirements for complying with accessibility are very high. This is also seen on the design systems own webpage which scores one of the highest accessibility scores possible.

My work and contribution to this are various. I was a UX and UI designer, researching, testing, designing various components and new patterns for the design system.
